At Breakthrough T1D, we help make everyday life better for the people who face it. We do this by focusing on what the T1D community needs now and next. We address the issues that impact the T1D community, break through barriers, and campaign to raise awareness of the need for better access to T1D treatments and technologies.
We support and connect people living with T1D and provide information and guidance that make it easier to live and thrive with T1D. We provide expert, specialist information and advice through our website, including toolkits and a teaching stuffed bear called Rufus for children, to help at different life stages of T1D. We also run community events for people with type 1 to meet others living with the condition.
